Lanka Fastener Limited was incorporated in 1994 and commenced commercial activity in 1995. This 100% Sri Lankan company is one of the largest Steel and Stainless Steel nut manufacturing facilities in South Asia, and has successfully obtained ISO 9000 certification. Located in the Investment Promotion Zone at Katunayake, Sri Lanka, the company has a monthly installed manufacturing capacity of 600 metric tons in total in Stainless or Low Carbon Steel, housed in 17,000 square meters of built-up factory space.

The Company employs highly specialized personnel who have undergone extensive in-house training in the Fastener industry, both in Sri Lanka and abroad.

The factory, equipped for manufacturing, repairs and maintenance, has a workshop facility that fabricates its own machine spares, moulds, dies, punches and plastic components - total self-reliance that ensures consistent product quality. This adequately meets today's heightened consumer awareness, that constantly emphasizes that the company can brook no compromise on the high manufacturing standards.

The company is keenly aware that this labour intensive industry, with high volumes and low margins makes constant demands on the skills and attitudes of the labour force. This in turn prompts Lanka Fastener to place special significance on teamwork to ensure total product excellence.
